Age is such a funny thing, isn’t it?
How old do you really feel?
My mother lived to 94, but she was young until her last breath. She had an insatiable curiosity, a love for life, and a desire to keep moving—even when her body couldn’t always keep up. I once asked her if she thought she’d reunite with my father or her parents after she died. She smiled and said, "Maybe… but I really want to meet new friends up there!"
For my mother, 94 wasn’t an ending. It was simply another piece of the beautiful mosaic of her life.
Now, in my late sixties, I sometimes feel the changes that come with aging—more aches, a little less energy, and, yes, sometimes dozing off in the middle of the day. But my mind is still hungry to learn, explore, and engage.
What about you? Do you worry about getting older? Do you ever feel just so old, so tired and unmotivated about your future?
Can you picture a life where you look forward to each day with pleasure? You may have the aches and pains of aging, but you still are able to approach the day with joy and meaning.
Wouldn't that feel great?
I understand how you feel, but I can help you move forward toward the feelings of joy and meaning in your life.
Here’s my belief: Age is just a number, not a definition. The world may try to tell us what it means to be 60, 70, or 80—but we are the artists of our own lives, choosing tiles, colors, and textures that make up our unique mosaics.
Yes, we acknowledge the realities of aging. Our bodies change. It is inevitable. Those are tiles that are inevitably going to be included in our life mosaic.
But other life mosaic tiles should reflect our wisdom and resilience. These tiles are very important in your mosaic, they add stability and strength to the art.
Every day holds opportunities for you to make changes, big or small.
As a mosaic artist, I have found that even small changes can make a big difference in how the art turns out. Sometimes changing the color of the grout. Sometimes hanging the piece upside down!
There is always the opportunity to add joy and meaning to your life.
You can choose a full, vibrant, and joyful Act3—right now.
